Hi, I am a university student based in York! I grew up in Leeds, but always loved York as a city, so moving here for university was an exciting step. I have always been crafty and creative, always wanting to make or bake something, always wanting to experiment with new things and ideas whether this was drawing, baking, sewing or just any other arty thing I could get my hands on. A lot of this I have my Nanna to thank for, for providing ideas and tips, knowledge and materials. But mostly for letting me learn and grow myself. By allowing me the freedom to be creative and make choices, as well as giving me the opportunities to try recreate whatever ideas I had in my mind, no matter how small or silly.

This learning experience growing up has massively influenced me, from influencing what I create to how I create it, and all the way to influencing who I am as a person.

I have a passion for creating things, in varieties of forms from all things edible and delicious to soft and cuddly. I love doing these things and so to have the opportunity to continue doing this in order to help build a life for myself by creating Home Crafted is something I am really grateful for.
